No one goes home hungry!
It was almost a regular occurrence to have company at meal times or Ty would just bring people by for a snack. His famous dish was scrambled eggs with mushrooms, onions, cheese and whatever meat was available. He never wanted anyone to go hungry, probably because he loved his meals. It wasn’t a shock to wake to several people staying over and hoping for a home cooked breakfast. Thankfully they loved pancakes. On his drive home from B.C. he picked up a hitchhiker somewhere near Moncton. Instead of bringing him home, Ty drove him to Halifax and gave him every cent he had left to buy himself dinner. Ty knew he was home, he no longer had to worry when his next meal was coming.
So another goal or purpose is to help feed the hungry….
